Akuru AI is built by PICAD Pvt Ltd, a product engineering studio in the Maldives. We design, train and run Akuru's models and app ourselves.

Akuru (އަކުރު) means letter, the building block of written Dhivehi.
Mission
Make Dhivehi a first-class language for AI, so that everything people can do with AI in English, they can do in Dhivehi.
How we work
Small specialist models, fixed Dhivehi tests, and a release rule that only lets better models through. We publish targets as targets and results as results.
